Welcome to the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Lyme disease.
We are a group of MPs and Peers campaigning for a significant improvement in the understanding of Lyme disease and the experience of patients.
The All-Party Group provides a way for Parliamentarians, Voluntary Organisations and those affected by Lyme disease to discuss the current provision of diagnosis and treatment and the pressing need for more research.
We aim to persuade the Government to put more funding into Lyme disease research so that we can better understand this complex illness.
The Group is Co-Chaired by Michelle Donelan MP (who has had the illness herself) and Simon Hoare MP. Please see the “Membership” section of our site for the full list of members.
